The Effective Solution.
The RootX formula foams on contact with water allowing it to reach to the top of the pipe where 90% of root growth occurs. The foam lifts and sticks the active ingredient, Dichlobenil, to the roots and to the top of the pipe. The formula strips away grease and grime which allows the active ingredient to penetrate and kill the roots. Dead roots will decay and break off and new root growth will be stunted, eliminating the aggressive grow back of roots that are simply cut. Regular maintenance with RootX will reduce if not eliminate Sanitary Sewer Overflows.
Cost Effective.
RootX is not only much cheaper than mechanical cutting, but the treatment lasts longer. Mechanical cutting can immediately clear blocked pipelines, but like pruning a tree, cut roots will grow back – fully blocking a pipe in as little as nine months. RootX is guaranteed to keep 200mm or larger sewer lines free from blockages caused by live root growth for 24 months after application.
